ADDYS
Produce the ad industries version of the Oscars. You and the ADDY team will plan, direct and host New Orleans’ only advertising award show. The annual award gala is held in early spring to recognize talented Greater New Orleans area ad professionals. Your efforts will be seen and recognized by the most important and influential ad professionals in the region.
Bowl-a-thon
Generate fun and club profits when you produce Ad Club’s signature fundraiser – the Annual Bowl-a-Thon at Rock-n-Bowl. You and your team will coordinate with site management, secure raffle items, sponsorships, oversee T-shirt design, create decorations and plan event staffing. This perennially sold out event will enable you to roll a perfect game before the areas most influential ad pros.
Membership
Be a part of the front line. Reaching out to our members and potential members is a significant part of running a non-profit organization. Help innovate the way we do business by developing e-blasts, creating membership drives and just being friendly!
Programming
Tired of the same old lunch every day? We are! Plan and coordinate luncheon and after hours networking events for club members and guests. You will choose restaurants, make menu choices and select drink specials. Additionally, You will work with our public relations and communications teams to insure that each event is expertly promoted.
Student Outreach
Join forces with local universities including Loyola University New Orleans in molding the minds of future ad professionals. Help create innovative learning workshops, meet and greets and lead the search for the next recipient of the Alan B. Watts student scholarship.
Communications
As a member of the communications team your chief responsibility will be to convert bland board meeting notes into dynamic language intended to motivate club members and members to be. Message dissimilation will use traditional and social media strategies and may include e-commerce. Additionally, your creative writing talents will be needed for the local and district newsletters.
