This job assists in development and implementation of marketing strategic initiatives that sustain and strengthen the system market position and provide measurable marketing return on investment. Responsibilities include independently oversees all aspects of planning, implementation, execution, tracking and budgeting for community hospital and service line/retail department marketing. Additional responsibilities include executing and initiating results-driven initiatives, negotiating and managing contracts/estimates with vendors on assigned projects, analyzing data, market research and segmentation analytics to formulate marketing strategy, tracking ROI and continually improving results, and supporting system brand and marketing initiatives across all marketing channels through the implementation of marketing initiatives. This job will oversee the design of collateral material while maintaining consistency with brand or sub-branding guidelines, drafts, edits and/or proofreads marketing material and copy, collaborates with external/internal design and/or production firms on creative ideas and design options, provides advertising, marketing, and logistical support for special events and community outreach projects, and attends to the details of special event implementation and follow-up. The incumbent will participate in the strategic planning process for clients and assists or oversees projects, external direct mail campaigns, communications, promotional items, and advertising tracking.
Education
Required – High School diploma or equivalent and additional degrees, business training experience and/or certifications may be combined to meet minimum qualifications.
Preferred – Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or related field
Work Experience
Required – 3 years related marketing experience
Preferred – 5 years of marketing experience including three years of project leadership experience
Preferred – 1+ years of retail marketing experience, including ecommerce marketing and hospitality/tourism marketing (experience with Calendly, SMS software, CRM, Shopify or similar programs)
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
- Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard

Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.
Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.
