PETERMAYER is looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our team in New Orleans. If you’re a copywriter with 3-7 years of experience, then you know what a copywriter does. Making a long list of roles and responsibilities seems like a lot of unnecessary writing. And we have other writing to do because we’re down a Senior Copywriter. But we will tell you the sort of person we’re looking for:
Someone who loves coming up with ideas—all the time.
Someone comfortable working in a partnership (yes, with an art director)
A person who prefers brevity but isn’t afraid of the verbose
A person who isn’t afraid
A social media junkie who loves new media in all of its wicked forms
Someone who loves a good cross-functional collaboration but really can’t wait to distill things in solitude
An industry sponge—the sort of person who can tell you which agency did that ad for that thing featuring Chrissy Teigen and why it’s important
A creative at heart who is passionate about building their portfolio
A “camera on” Zoom person
